Retired from corporate America after a 37-year career with IBM, Nancy is a professional artist and instructor with a dedicated home studio and gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona where she creates mixed media, oil paintings. and teaches workshops.
She shares her joy of the natural world by capturing unique perspectives of floral, fauna and the creatures that live among them. Using brilliant color and personally developed techniques, she explores texture and layering to draw the viewer closer to find the hidden elements in her work.
Nancy began her creative journey oil painting and has won several prestigious awards, including first place in the Scottsdale Artists’ School, Best and Brightest Show 2024, Small Works oil category and several awards from Camelback Gallery and the Arizona Art Alliance. She has displayed in the famous Salmagundi Gallery in New York City with the American Professional Artists League.
She is a juried member of Oil Painters of America (OPA), American Artists Professional League (AAPL), the National Oil & Acrylics Painters’ Society (NOAPS), and the Sonoran Arts League. She is an instructor at The Sonoran Arts League and the Sagewood Health Center.
