Nichole Laizure

Nichole Laizure is a native of Arizona.  Having traveled extensively in the United States and overseas, she returned to her roots to focus on building a strong body of work in her Paradise Valley studio.  Her grandfather, also an artist, was an inspiration to her.  She has fond memories of going to the art museums with him when she was young and spending hours transfixed on the paintings.  There, she found the wonders of color, texture, and the play of light that can be achieved through art.  This encouraged her to pick up the brush and discover her strength through painting.

Nichole graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northern Arizona University.  She started her career in the advertising business as an assistant painter and later began working as a freelance artist in the publishing world, creating illustrations for the educational market.  She later shifted from illustrating to focus full time on fine art in her own studio.

Today, she is particularly passionate about continuing to develop a strong collection of representational landscapes that capture light through bold, vibrant colors and contrasting textures.

Her paintings can be found in private and public collections in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
